Singer Sung Sikyung postponed the opening of year-end concert tickets with condolences over the Itaewon disaster.
S27, the performance agency in charge of Sung Si-kyung’s year-end concert on the 1st, said, “We will join the national mourning period and inform you that we have decided to postpone the general reservation schedule scheduled for 8 p.m. on November 4th to 8 p.m. on November 10th.”We ask for your generous understanding from the fans and the audience,” he said.
“We express our deepest condolences for the Itaewon disaster and wish the injured to recover quickly,” he said.
Sung Si-kyung will hold the 2022 Sung Si-kyung Year-end Concert at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul for a total of three days from December 23 to 25.
A massive crush accident occurred near the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 29th of last month. According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, 156 people died in the Itaewon crush accident as of the 1st. Accordingly, the government declared a national mourning period until November 5.
