The press still of the official invitation film “Broker” for the competition category of the 75th Cannes International Film Festival has been released.
“Broker” is a movie about the unexpected and special journey of those who became involved with Baby Box. The press still released this time contains the different journeys of brokers and detectives centered on Baby Box.
The still captured images of “Sanghyun” (Song Kang-ho), a self-proclaimed well-meaning broker who wants to find the right person to raise the baby of Baby Box, “Dong-soo” (Kang Dong-won), a partner of “Sanghyun,” and “So-young” (Lee Ji-eun), a mother who started unexpected company with brokers. The stills, which capture the moments of the broker’s journey from the pier to the hotel to the amusement park, stimulate curiosity about the story that will unfold along the special deal.
It also features a still of detective “Sujin” (Bae Doo-na), who persistently follows the brokers’ journey, and a complicated and subtle image of junior “Detective Lee” (Lee Joo-young), who trusts and follows “Sujin.” Steele, who captures their investigation, creates strange tension and increases immersion.
