Ryu Hyunjin returned home with his family on the 22nd…
Ryu Hyunjin (35, Toronto), who had been training for spring camps in Korea until early March and left shortly after the conclusion of labor-management negotiations in the Major League, will return home with his family on the 22nd.
Ryu Hyun-jin’s domestic management company Acepec Corporation said on the 21st, “Ryu Hyun-jin returned home a little late because his second child was born in September,” adding, “We plan to focus on rehabilitation in Korea during the off-season.”
Ryu Hyun-jin, who was out of the season due to injury this year, played only six games. This year’s record of throwing 27 innings is 5.67 ERA with two wins. After undergoing left elbow ligament surgery in June, recovery and rehabilitation training were conducted in Canada.
Ryu Hyun-jin trained for spring camp with his former team Hanwha in Korea earlier this year due to the closure of his major league workplace. Labor-management negotiations were dramatically concluded in March, and they moved to Canada.
When he left the country in March, he had three family members, but when he returned home, he returned to four. Former announcers Ryu Hyun-jin and Bae Ji-hyun, who married in January 2018, received their first daughter in May 2020 and their second son in September.
