Jamie Lee Curtis, in memory of the Itaewon disaster…”Young people lose their freedom to celebrate again”
Jamie Lee Curtis, an American actor famous for the “Halloween” series, delivered a message of condolence to the Itaewon crush accident.
Jamie Curtis posted an article and photo that began on the 29th (local time) saying, “A terrible tragedy occurred in Seoul.”
“So many young people have gathered again and lost their freedom to celebrate,” he said. “When we get together in our own way on Halloween, keep them and their families close.”
As of 10:40 a.m. on the 30th, 151 people were killed and 82 were injured in a large-scale crush accident in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 29th, resulting in a total of 233 casualties.
The accident was also reported by a number of foreign media, including the BBC and CNN, and as a result, messages of condolence are being delivered around the world.
Meanwhile, Jamie Curtis, who was born in 1958 and turns 64 years old, recently played the role of Dearly Beauvedra in the film Everything Everywhere All At Once.
