Actress Jeon Do-yeon (50) expressed her daughter’s reaction to her romance with Jeong Kyung-ho (40) in tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “One Hit Scandal” (written by Yang Hee-seung and directed by Yoo Je-won).

Jeon Do-yeon had an interview at a cafe in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 6th after the end of the “one hit scandal.” The “One Hit Scandal,” which ended on the 5th, depicts a sweet and bitter romance between the president of the national side dish store and a Korean math instructor on the battlefield of private education.

Jeon Do-yeon played the role of Nam Haeng-seon, the president of a side dish store, and had her first romance with Jeong Kyung-ho, who played Choi Chi-yeol, a math instructor. Their sweet chemistry served as a driving force for viewership. In particular, the romantic bed kiss scene between Nam Haeng-seon and Choi Chi-yeol attracted a lot of attention among viewers.

Jeon Do-yeon, who is raising a middle school daughter in real life like the southbound line in the play, laughed at her daughter’s reaction to the kiss scene with Jung Kyung-ho, saying, “First of all, my daughter can’t see the part with (Choi) Chi-yeol.”

Jeon Do-yeon married Kang Si-kyu, a former car racer, in 2007 and gave birth to a daughter in 2009. Jeon Do-yeon said, “My daughter went to school and said, ‘My friends asked me, ‘How do you feel about your mom kissing another man?'” adding, “It’s the same as asking, ‘How do you feel when I act?'”

Nam Haeng-seon is a person who is struggling to help her daughter Nam Hae-yi (played by Noh Yoon-seo) enter the college. Jeon Do-yeon played the southbound line and showed how strong and weak she can be to protect her family. Jeon Do-yeon said, “The way (male) lines live and the way I usually live are not very different,” adding, “I am also finding myself as a mother through my daughter.”

The “One Hit Scandal” not only provided exciting romance but also heartwarming healing with a heartwarming story of a person. In the second half, the focus was on the iron bead murder case, and there was a disappointing response as the probability between the characters in the play continued, but the actors’ performances were generally well received.

Jeon Do-yeon said, “I was very happy living on the line. It’s not easy to feel ‘I’m giving you strength’ or ‘I’m warming my heart because of this’, but I felt that for the first time during this shoot.” He also said, “There were a lot of times when my laughter came out, not acting,” adding, “The director looked at those things as a destination character and naturally accepted them in an acting way.”
