Acquisition of IP for 174 songs from overseas, including Beyond Music

Beyond Music, a music intellectual property (IP) investment and management company, has acquired copyrights and neighboring copyrights for 174 songs owned by famous overseas producer Greg Wells.

This is the first time that a domestic company has acquired a catalog of famous producers. BeyondMusic established Beyond Music US, an American corporation, and secured music copyright and neighboring rights for famous pop artists through asset transfer. Global artists such as John Legend, Dua Lipa, Katie Perry, Adele, and Celine Dion were included.

Beyond Music now has more than 26,000 domestic and foreign music copyrights and neighboring copyrights. This year, the company acquired FNC Investment and secured all neighboring rights to the music division of Interpark, and acquired overseas music IP, recording about 300 billion won worth of music IP asset management (AUM).
